Video: Chris Jericho and Several Other Names Announced for “Raw” 25

That’s a big one. We’re now less than one week away from the “Monday Night Raw” 25th Anniversary Special and a lot of big names will be making appearances. We already know about Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, HHH and the Undertaker, but tonight we heard about another huge name, plus a collection of other names who are now confirmed for next week’s show.

As announced tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Chris Jericho will be appearing on next week’s special. This will be Jericho’s first appearance for WWE since he made a one off appearance on “Smackdown Live” to challenge for the United States Title on July 25. In addition to Jericho, WWE announced a host of women who will be appearing on the show as well. The video announcement with the list of women can be seen below.

Opinion: The women are a nice addition but really, Jericho is the only one who matters here. He’s one of the biggest stars in the company’s history and it wouldn’t be right to not have him there for such a big moment. If nothing else, having him here so soon after appearing at “Wrestle Kingdom XII” is a huge deal as Jericho becomes a bigger deal every year.
