That is one way to go. An injury is one of the worst things to happen to a wrestler as it can change their entire career in the blink of an eye. Something that happens in a split second can make months worth of difference to someone and it can get even worse as time goes on. That is the case with a current Monday Night Raw star but he is going to find a way around missing a long time.
Retribution has been one of the weaker presented WWE stables in a rather long time now and that is not the biggest surprise in the world. The team just never got off of the ground and it has been pretty frustrating watching a group of such talented wrestlers be stuck doing nothing of note. That includes their leader, Mustafa Ali, who is going to be around a bit longer than you might have expected.
Ali has posted a message to Twitter, saying that he will not be undergoing surgery in the near future. While Ali does not go into detail, this comes after stories of Ali having a torn PCL came out earlier this week. The news of the injury broke earlier this week and came after Ali was attacked by his Retribution teammates. Ali torn his PCL during a match in December 2020 and has been working through it since.
To clear some confusion, I am not getting surgery in the foreseeable future. I’ll be okay.
Thanks.

Ali is great to have around. Check out what he can do in the ring:
Opinion: While I would like to see Ali back at full health, good for him for working through a pretty nasty injury if he can make it work. Ali is one of the more exciting stars in WWE today and it would be a shame to see him go away for months. Hopefully he can find something a little better than the Retribution mess, which has not been the fault of the wrestlers, but rather how the team has been presented.
