Will they or won’t they? One of the big stories in recent weeks has been the contract situations of Fenix and Pentagon Jr., both of whom seem to be wanted by WWE. They’re two of the biggest stars on the independent scene at the moment and that almost guarantees that WWE will be out there taking a shot at them. That seems to be the case, but there might be something standing in WWE’s way.
According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, Fenix and Pentagon Jr. are both locked into contracts with Lucha Underground until 2020 at the earliest. At the same time, the pair is working on new deals with Impact Wrestling which will see them get a raise. They will both be working in Mexico and the United States, as well as trying to get into New Japan.
This WWE could use something like this?
Opinion: Good for them, though not the greatest news for WWE. At the end of the day though, Pentagon Jr. is the older of the brothers and he’s only thirty three. It’s not like these two are in the dying days of their careers and need to get to WWE as fast as they can. There’s also the chance that the contracts could be broken, as WWE could certainly find enough money to make Lucha Underground happy if that was an option.
Do you think the two of them will make it to WWE? What will happen to them if they do? Let us know in the comments below.
