There has to be something more to this. As previously reported, Tyson Kidd has been removed from “Total Divas” and implied that there was a big reason why. According to a new report from Prowrestlingsheet.com, Kidd, currently sidelined with a spinal cord injury which might be the end of his career, is being kept off the show to prevent him from talking about the nature of his injuries. The fear seems to be that he’ll make the company look bad as they may be deemed responsible for his career being over.

Total Divas Season 4

This isn’t the first time rumors have come up over the nature of Kidd’s injury. While it’s known that the injury occurred due to a botched Muscle Buster from Samoa Joe during a dark match in June 2015, it’s not clear how well WWE responded to it. Last year Bruce Hart claimed that WWE didn’t take enough care of Kidd and that his career was over. Kidd never denied the reports but did say he wasn’t close to Hart.

I’m really not sure what’s going on but there certainly seems to be something more to it than meets the eye. I don’t know if WWE is responsible for Kidd’s career being over but it doesn’t look good to have him pulled off a show with the possibility (emphasis on that word) that it’s due to wanting to take care of themselves. Kidd was on fire in his team with Cesaro and I hope he’s not being left out in the cold for the sake of making sure WWE doesn’t look bad.

What are your thoughts on Kidd? Do you think WWE is to blame for his situation? Let us know in the comments below.
