It’s not just the December 27th show that’s stacked. In the last two days, WWE has announced three major matches for tonight’s episode of “Smackdown Live”. Tonight we’ll be seeing Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper with the Wyatt Family at ringside, the Miz defending the Intercontinental Title against Apollo Crews and, take this one with a grain of salt, AJ Styles defending the Smackdown World Title against James Ellsworth.

I say take it with a grain of salt because this will be the third time that WWE has promised this match, only to pull it away at the last minute. The first instance was due to Styles having a bad ankle injury and then again last week due to Ellsworth having a bad cold. While not confirmed, these are likely ways to protect Styles’ injured ankle, which he hurt back at “Tables Ladders and Chairs 2016”.

You can’t say WWE isn’t loading up the show. I’ll gladly take this over what felt like a filler episode of “Monday Night Raw” earlier this week. A lot of fans tend to ignore the holiday season in wrestling but I rarely find that to be a viable excuse when you can put on a card like this one, which will be more eventful than most holiday shows.

Which of these matches are you looking forward to? Do you see either title changing hands?
