What A “Tribute”. Woman Accused Of Going “Stone Cold Steve Austin” On Her Boyfriend In Domestic Incident (Beer Involved).

I really don’t think that’s the kind of tribute he wanted. There are very few wrestlers who have broken into popular culture and become celebrities outside of the ring. One of the few to accomplish it is Steve Austin, who was one of the biggest stars in entertainment at his peak and that fame has not gone away. Earlier this week, Austin’s name was brought up in a way that he probably wasn’t aiming for.

According to the Smoking Gun, a Florida couple was involved in a domestic incident last weekend when a man accused his girlfriend of drinking too much. The woman threw her phone at her boyfriend and hit him in the throat. The man then went into the garage with her following and, in the man’s words, “took two beer cans” and “Stone Cold Steve Austin my a**”. The police report confirmed finding two empty, crushed beer cans near the incident, suggesting that she drank both beers in an Austin style over Havens. The woman was arrested for misdemeanor battery and released from custody on Sunday.

Opinion: What do you even say to this? The phone to the throat seemed to be an accident but to follow him into the garage with beers in hand and act like Austin was quite the visual. Austin’s signature stuff is still well known and that is the kind of thing that very few people are going to be able to say. It’s not the best story in the world but it is certainly the kind of thing that you don’t hear about very often.
