Top Guys Are Out: FTR Gets Weird News About Major AEW Project

I would hope they make it. AEW has been ambitious since its inception and there is nothing to suggest that it will be changing anytime soon. The company has several projects going on at the same time and that opens up several different doors. This includes some things that are not even directly related to wrestling, but now two prominent names are not going to be present in one of those projects.

Earlier this month, AEW released the first footage for its upcoming Fight Forever video game. According to Fightful Select, FTR are currently not included in the game’s roster, even though they were originally planned to be part of the lineup. There is no word on why the two were removed, as they had reached the character modeling stage of the build. The team is said to be unhappy with being left out, as being included in a video game often comes with a large bonus. There is still a chance that they will be included in the game as DLC.

Opinion: I can’t imagine that FTR will be left out of the game and having them as DLC would make sense. That being said, the idea of having them not on the original roster makes very little sense. They have been one of the most successful teams in AEW history and are some of the most popular teams at the moments. Why in the world would they be left out in the first place?
