He’s still got it. There are all kinds of things going on in wrestling and one of the most prominent is merchandise. Wrestlers are going to have their own shirt or gear in one way or another and some of them are going to make a fortune for the wrestlers in addition to what they make just for their wrestling abilities. Now we know who is topping the WWE list in an important way.

According to Fightful Select, Cody Rhodes is still topping the list of merchandise sellers for WWE, especially by weekly sales performance by event. Rhodes was also at the top of the superstars merchandise sales charts over WrestleMania weekend. This has regularly been the case in recent weeks, save for the March 6 Monday Night Raw in Boston, when John Cena topped the merchandise sales.

Opinion: It is no surprise that Rhodes is one of the biggest merchandise sellers in WWE as he is still presented as one of the most important stars in WWE. In addition to headlining WrestleMania 39, Rhodes went on to main event Backlash as well. That is some special treatment and Rhodes has earned the spot. Now he is benefiting from the work that he has put in over the last few months and that is great to see.
