WATCH: Two WWE Stars Make Surprise Appearances On NXT, One With Title In Sight

They’re jumping around. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and after the recent WWE Draft, most of them are assigned to one show or another. However, that is not the case for everyone as some are able to appear on any show they like. That was on display this week, as two stars made surprise cameos on a show that you might not have expected.

Both Mustafa Ali and Baron Corbin made surprise appearances on this week’s NXT. Ali appeared in the crowd during a tag match between Wes Lee/Tyler Bate vs. the Dyad and joined commentary. After the match, Ali saved Lee from an attack by Joe Gacy. Corbin appeared after the show’s main event, attacking NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes to end the show. There is no word on how long Corbin or Ali will be appearing in NXT.

Opinion: I like this idea, as neither Ali nor Corbin seem likely to be doing much on the main roster so let them have a bit of a rehab assignment in NXT. It would be nice to see either of them doing something down there and a win over them will mean something nice. Hopefully this works out, which has been the case when main roster stars head to NXT before. Maybe these two can do it again.
