That could be worse. There are all kinds of ways for wrestlers to be injured during a match and some of those situations can wind up being very serious. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler put on the shelf. At the same time, there is almost always a chance that an injury is part of a storyline, which can make things all the more confusing. Now we have another confusing situation with some good news.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Sound Off? WWE Accused Of Piping In Crowd Noise During Monday Night Raw Segment
The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli defeat the team of Orange Cassidy and Kazuchika Okada. Late in the match, Danielson was hit with a Rainmaker and Orange Punch, leaving him down after the match was over. Danielson was checked on to end the show, though AEW President Tony Khan tweeted that Danielson left the arena under his own power. There is no word on if this is part of a storyline or a legitimate injury.
Thank you all who watched #AEWDynamite tonight! We had a great show with a great live crowd in Philly! After an Orange Punch/Rainmaker, thankfully @bryandanielson walked out on his own power!
If you missed tonight's show, it's on at 8pm PT/9pm MT/10pm CT/11pm ET

It was a nasty moment. Check out the match plus Danielson at full strength:
Opinion: What matters most is that Danielson seems to be ok, though I could not shake the feeling that the ending was designed to set up another match between Danielson and Okada. It would not shock me to see them face off again at Wrestle Kingdom in January if not before, as that would certainly be a marquee match. For now though, Danielson is on his feet and that is better than it could have been.
