They’re going international. WWE is the largest wrestling promotion in the world but they still want to expand things as much as they can. It makes for some special moments when the company takes their events to new places, or at least gives an old place a special event. WWE has been doing just that in recent years and now we know what they are going to be doing again.

WWE has announced that it will be holding a Premium Live Event at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin Germany on August 31, 2024. The event, called Bash In Berlin, will be the first ever such event held in the country, though WWE has run live events from German before. The announcement follows other shows outside of the continental United States and Canada, such as Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico and Elimination Chamber 2024 in Australia.

WWE has been in Germany before. Check out some of their time in the country:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE has been doing in recent months and years and it can make for a great feeling. There is something cool about having WWE going more and more international. If nothing else, the fans are going to be excited to get to see something this special and that should be the case again. It’s a long way off and that should be more than enough time to build things up, as the show deserves.
