Well hello there. Over the last several years, NXT has become the hottest wrestling promotion in the world with one classic match and show after another. A lot of fans wonder how WWE and NXT can be the same company as the products are so vastly different, but it can make for some entertaining television either way. Now though, some of the stars are ready to move up to the main roster, at least for one night.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Triple H announced that Ricochet, Aleister Black, North American Champion Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be making their in-ring debuts on the show in separate matches. There is no word on if this is a one off appearance or a permanent callup. The four of them have all been rumored for callups to the main roster at some point in the future.
You might need to get to know this guy. Check out this video on Gargano being back to his old self:
Opinion: This comes off as a single appearance to me and there’s nothing wrong with that. While there is a chance that these four will be around full time soon after WrestleMania (at least some of them are bound to be), I don’t think WWE is going to bring up four of their top developmental stars (if not their four top stars) in one night with no hype whatsoever. It would also make more sense to do a match like this at Fastlane, but that might make too much sense.
Which of these stars has the brightest future on the main roster? Who will be called up full time first? Let us know in the comments below.
