That doesn’t look too bad. We’re coming up on WWE’s Crown Jewel event with a bigger card than you might have expected at first. Of the current eleven match card, seven of them will be in the World Cup Of Wrestling tournament, which is being held to find the best in the world. While we’ve known the eight people involved in the tournament, we now know who they’ll be facing.
This week on Monday Night Raw, the official brackets for the World Cup Of Wrestling tournament were unveiled for the first times. The brackets will feature four Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live wrestlers facing off until one wrestler from each show meets in the final. At the moment, the only prizes for winning the tournament are a trophy and bragging rights. Here are the brackets:
Seth Rollins
Bobby Lashley
Kurt Angle
Dolph Ziggler
Jeff Hardy
The Miz
Rey Mysterio
Randy Orton
Opinion: These are long overdue as there had to be something to actually look towards at the pay per view. You can only mention a tournament without matches for so long before it stops mattering and WWE was as close to that line as you can be. The tournament doesn’t look half bad and with the right execution, we could be in for a rather fun show this coming Friday.
