And then there were eight. With the Mae Young Classic coming up in less than two weeks, there aren’t many spots left to be filled. We know over half of the names in the field and some of the names are people who might be familiar to you. Some of them have been prominent names in other promotions and some of them are strangers. A new batch of them are out now and there are some of each.

In a new article on WWE.com, three new names have been confirmed for the Mae Young Classic. The new names include Ashley Rayne (the former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne), Priscilla Kelly (a 21 year old from Georgia who mainly wrestles in the southeast) and Xia Brookside (the 19 year old daughter of WWE Performance Center coach Robbie Brookside). These three names bring the tournament field to twenty four out of thirty two.

Here’s Rayne against a pretty big name.

World Title Series Match: Gail Kim vs Madison Rayne (11/11/15)

Opinion: Getting Rayne is a big deal as she’s been featured in Impact Wrestling as of late. You need some names that people have heard of in these things or it’s a bunch of wrestlers people aren’t familiar with fighting each other. You need some baselines for people to go over and that’s where people like Rayne are helpful. She’s defeated some of the bigger names in the current women’s division and a win over her would mean something.

Which of these names interests you the most? Who else do you want in the field? Let us know in the comments below.
