All hail? Last year, Neville left WWE TV almost overnight. Reports began to leak out stating that he had left over a contract dispute, possibly over having to lose to Enzo Amore. Neville has yet to return to WWE TV and hasn’t wrestled for the company (or anywhere for that matter) since September. He’s still discussed though, and now it’s being done by someone with a pretty high profile.

In a recent string of Tweets, Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander has been taking some shots at Neville. Most of Alexander’s statements are responding to fans mentioning Neville in the first place, but he certainly doesn’t seem thrilled with the way Neville left the promotion. At the moment there is no suggestion that Neville will be coming back to the company. Here are some of the tweets.

They’ve gotten together before.

Cedric Alexander vs. Neville: WWE 205 Live, Jan. 24, 2017

Opinion: I have no idea what Alexander is playing at here but there is some serious potential there. Maybe Neville comes back for a one off match or something more long term or maybe this is Alexander going off on his own, but either way it does make you wonder where this might be going. Alexander has beaten a lot of the other names in the division and a big name challenger would be a very positive change of pace.
