Three Huge Names Could Be Joining AEW

Well that would be big. The hottest story in wrestling at the moment is the announcement of AEW, which could wind up being something a lot bigger than expected. The new promotion has certainly hit the ground running and seems to have a plan in mind. However, there’s a lot more to it than that as you have to get some names to bring in the fans. It turns out they have a lot of them already in mind.

According to PWInsider Elite Audio, there is a chance that AJ Styles could head over to AEW when his current WWE deal expires in April. Styles is 41 years old and might be looking for a lighter schedule to wrap up his career. In addition to Styles, Goldberg and Chris Jericho may be working for the company, according to Rajah by way of Ringsidenews.com. The two share the same agent in Barry Bloom, who will be working to bring talent in to AEW.

Opinion: I don’t know if these three are going to show up or not, but in a lot of cases it’s going to come down to the money. WWE is going to be able to afford all of these people if the company wants them, and that’s why AEW might want to look elsewhere. Do you want to spend all your money on three talents when you could spend less on some younger talent in greater numbers?
