Shane McMahon would be happy. There aren’t many businesses like professional wrestling. While the wrestling itself takes up a very small part of the day, there are several other things that the roster has to do as part of their jobs. These can include workouts, road trips, time away from their friends and families and all kinds of bumps and bruises. They deserve some strong compensation, and now we might know a bit more about it.
The Mirror (United Kingdom tabloid) has released a new list of the salaries of a majority of the main WWE roster, along with some company executives. These salaries do not include bonuses from merchandising or perks that may be written into their contracts. This is the kind of thing these people could do. Check out a classic WWE money moment (this always works):
Opinion: There are certainly going to be some issues to be had with some of these numbers, mainly involving the disparity between the men’s and women’s salaries. Aside from that, there are some numbers on here that are just staggering, as it’s hard to fathom some of these people being paid as much as others. It’s WWE’s money though and things seem to be working pretty well for them at the moment.
