There’s Something Kurt Angle Still Wants To Do In WWE

One more for the road? You never know what you might see in wrestling. Sometimes it’s an undead zombie becoming a fan favorite. Sometimes it’s a rapper turning into one of the most popular superstars of all time. Sometimes it’s an Olympic gold medalist coming home. That’s what Kurt Angle did last year, to the shock of a large portion of the fan base. He even wrestled again, but that seems to not be enough for him.

During a Facebook Q&A, Angle was asked if he wants one more run with the WWE Championship. Angle said that he hopes so and that he is healthy and ready to go if called on. Angle has wrestled a handful of matches since returning to WWE in 2017, last stepping into the ring at the Greatest Royal Rumble. He is a six time World Champion in WWE, last holding one of the titles in 2006.

Opinion: If there’s one thing I’ve learned is true in wrestling anymore, it’s never say never. Six years ago, would you have believed that The Rock would never be WWE Champion again. Three years ago, would you have believed that two women would main event a pay per view inside the Cell? I know Angle being WWE Champion again sounds insane, but really it’s not something I would put past WWE if they needed a quick ratings pop.
