Rumor: Here’s Why Brock Lesnar Attacked Paul Heyman On Raw

This is only a rumor, so take it for what’s worth.

Last week on Raw, Brock Lesnar seemed to be more agitated than usual, refusing to go out to the arena for the majority of the evening. It was only after Kurt Angle threatened to terminate Paul Heyman’s contract, that The Beast would make his appearance known and give an F5 to the Raw General Manager.

However, it didn’t end there.

Throughout the night, Heyman was encouraging Lesnar to go to the ring, because if he didn’t, Heyman would be fired from WWE. This caused The Beast to start to become extremely frustrated, and even quite physical with his advocate. Lesnar even almost choked out Heyman to end Raw.

According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason for this angle was to tease the idea that Lesnar and Heyman have split up. While this could be taken as a swerve, it could also be taken as a way for Heyman to remain with the company after costing Lesnar the Universal Championship at Summerslam.

Although Lesnar has shot his UFC angle with Daniel Cormier and has been getting drug tested by USADA, is not guaranteed that his match with Roman Reigns will be his final with the company.

Editor’s Opinion:

If Heyman does end up costing Lesnar the title, I’m not sure who WWE would pair him with. They tried it with CM Punk and it worked to an extent, but it takes a very special person to be a “Paul Heyman Guy”, and I just don’t know who it would be. Unless they put him with a female and made a “Paul Heyman Girl,” but again the question becomes, who would it be?
