Like pulling the plug on a guitar. One of the biggest stories in WWE over the last few months has been Dean Ambrose turning on the Shield and Seth Rollins in particular. The feud has lead to a match between the two of them for Rollins’ Intercontinental Title, but that might not have always been the plans. What might have been on the docket if things had gone the way they had originally been written?
According to WrestleVotes, the original plans for the Rollins vs. Ambrose feud would have seen Ambrose costing Rollins the title to Elias. The plans were changed last month as WWE seemed to alter almost everything they were doing on Monday Night Raw all at once. At the moment, there doesn’t seem to be a plan to put the title on Elias. Ambrose is scheduled to challenge Rollins for the title at next month’s TLC.
Interesting tidbit for those who like this type of thing: prior to all of RAWs creative plans going up in flames last month, the original Ambrose heel turn angle was to see him cost Rollins the IC title. Who was scheduled to win the strap you ask? Elias.

Maybe it would have been revenge. Do you remember the time when Rollins destroyed Elias’ guitar? Check it out:
Opinion: I’m not sure if this was going to be the case or not but it could have been interesting to see. Elias has been hovering around this point for a long time now and it could be interesting to see him get the title. He’s popular with the fans and there’s something to see with him getting such a chance. You have to imagine that’s coming one day in the near future, though waiting a bit is understandable.
