That’s new. There are several people who come together to make a wrestling show work and a bunch of them are rarely seen in front of the camera. These are the people who help get what you see on the show ready, though some of them are former wrestlers who are no longer getting in the ring. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: So Long: AEW Star Reportedly Gone From The Company Following Lengthy Absence
Earlier this week, news broke that Von Wagner had been released from his WWE contract. Wagner had been regularly appearing in NXT and was associated with Mr. Stone. According to Fightful Select, Stone will be moving into a producer’s role in NXT and will not be packaged on-screen with another wrestler. Stone began his producing working this week, working with Matt Bloom to produce a match between Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker.

Opinion: This is one of those changes that came out of nowhere but might wind up making good sense. If NXT does not feel the need to put Stone with someone new, then having him work backstage instead might be the better way to go. He’s been around wrestling for a long time and could add something to the show, which is better than having him leave the company as well.
What do you think of the idea? How should Stone be used in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
