One less. There have been several changes to WWE in recent months and many of them have involved wrestlers coming and going from the company. It has been a big deal when someone either leaves or hints at leaving, which has been the situation for some whose contracts are coming up soon. Now though, one of those names seems to have been checked off of the list.

The Silver Screen: Cody Rhodes Reportedly Set For Upcoming Movie Role

Finn Balor has posted a message to Twitter, thanking WWE for ten years and saying he isn’t going anywhere. This comes as Balor’s contract was reportedly set to expire “a few months” after WrestleMania. According to Fightful Select by way of, Balor is expected to sign a new “multi year, big money offer” from WWE, though it is not clear if the new deal has been finalized. Balor, 42 years old, was said to be one of the free agents AEW was hoping to sign.

Balor has done some good things in WWE. Check out some of his time there:

Opinion: This is something you might be hearing about from various wrestlers over the coming weeks and that is a good thing for WWE. The company has several contracts coming up and locking down as many big names as they can is a smart idea. In addition to keeping themselves strong, those are names who are not going to be boosting up AEW. It also must be nice for the wrestlers to get some large paydays, which seems to be the case with Balor as well.
