He’s on the other side. There are a lot of different ways to present a wrestler but ultimately it boils down to them being good or evil. While you can have varying degrees either way, what matters most is that someone is on one side or the other. It can mean a lot when someone changes sides, and that apparently was the case this week, even if it wasn’t all that clear.
This week on Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor joined Edge’s Judgment Day stable, only to immediately turn on Edge and have the team beat him down. According to PWInsider.com, following the turn, Edge is now officially considered a babyface backstage in WWE. There is no word on when he will be back in the ring following the attack or who he will be facing first.
Opinion: This absolutely feels like a quick change to balance out the loss of Cody Rhodes and that is not a bad idea. Edge is someone the fans will cheer no matter what so letting him feud with people like Balor and Damian Priest is a good idea. If nothing else, Edge going away for a bit can let him come back fresh, which is a great way to get rid of the bad things he said about the fans in the last few months.
