They still have time. We are coming up on Tables, Ladders And Chairs, with the show coming up this coming weekend. WWE did not seem to realize that just a week ago as the card had barely even started to come together with so little time left to set things up. Things got a bit better over the last week with six matches announced, but there could be another big one coming up.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning on running Braun Strowman vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the Intercontinental Title at Tables, Ladders And Chairs. However, the match may be in jeopardy as Strowman has been out of action with a minor back injury, meaning it is possible that he may not be ready for the pay per view. Should he be cleared in time, the match will be set up on this week’s SmackDown. There is no word on if Nakamura will wrestle someone else should Strowman not be cleared.
Both of these guys can do something. Check out both of them in action:
Opinion: This is a match that makes sense and I could go with seeing it, if nothing else just to find out how WWE could manage to keep Strowman from getting another big win. If Strowman can’t wrestle, I’m not sure who could face Nakamura for the title instead. That presents an even bigger problem than Strowman being out, as there should be a host of people ready to be plugged into such a spot, but that just isn’t the case and it’s a problem.
Will Strowman be able to wrestle? Who will take the title from Nakamura? Let us know in the comments below.
