Well at least it wasn’t too bad. Injuries are something that is going to happen to everyone in wrestling at some point or another. No matter how well trained or experienced a wrestler can be, there is no way to guarantee that everyone is going to be kept completely safe. As a physical sport, wrestling has an element of danger to it, but sometimes the injuries are not as bad as they may seem.
Earlier this week, the Revival’s Dash Wilder was held out of the ring due to some unspecified injury. The only information that we had came from Scott Dawson, who said that Wilder had his jingle bells run. That could have meant several things, but Wilder did not wrestle on the December 26 live event in Cincinnati as Dawson teamed with Curtis Axel instead. Now though, we know how bad things were.
According to 411mania.com, Wilder was back in the ring for the dark match at Friday’s SmackDown taping. The match saw the Revival team up to defeat the Lucha House Party with a Shatter Machine. Wilder was out of the ring less than a week, as he wrestled on the December 20 SmackDown. It is still not clear what kind of injury that he had to put him on the sidelines.

Revival can be rather entertaining. Check out what they did last week before the injury:
Opinion: That’s quite the relief. There is no secret to the fact that the Revival is going to be leaving the WWE as soon as their contracts are up and it’s nice to see that Wilder isn’t going to go on the injured list. That would keep them around even longer and it would just be better for both sides to see them get away from each other. It isn’t helping anyone and at least it means another week without seeing the Revival get destroyed even worse.
What should Revival do next? What will they do before they leave WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
