That doesn’t sound good. There are some very talented wrestlers in the world today but unfortunately they are all susceptible to getting hurt. No matter how talented or skilled they may be, there is the chance that someone could get injured at any given time. Unfortunately that seems to be the case again with one of the higher profile names on SmackDown.
According to PWInsider.com, Sasha Banks may have been injured during a match against Charlotte at a live event on Sunday. Banks was taking a backbreaker but planted her leg wrong, seemingly injuring her leg or knee. She was able to kick out of a cover, but was unable to get to her feet and the match was stopped as a result. There is no word on the specifics of Banks’ injury or how long she could be out of action.
Losing Banks would be a big hit for WWE. Check out what she can do when she is healthy:
Opinion: That does not sound good at all and now we need to wait and see just how bad things are for Banks. Hopefully she is able to get back in the ring sooner rather than later and nothing is seriously wrong. If nothing else, the SmackDown women’s division is not exactly in great shape at the moment after Toni Storm walked out. I’m not sure who else could step up, but they are going to need someone soon.
What do you think of Banks? Who could take Banks’ place if she has to miss time? Let us know in the comments below.
