Just like Monday Night Raw. To say that WWE hasn’t been doing so well in the television ratings since Backlash would be an understatement. Last week’s Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live saw both shows take big hits and hitting some of the lowest numbers of the year. This week’s Monday Night Raw picked up a little bit but the numbers were still far from what they should have been at this time of year. So how did last night’s SmackDown Live do?

Opinion: So to recap: the show was centered around matches designed to set up a show a month away, one of which is for a prize that might not be used for a year. Throw in that the big main event is the fourth match in a series and designed to do nothing more than make you want to see the fifth match in the series. Maybe I’m missing something, but that really doesn’t sound like the most thrilling show in the world. Let me know what happened, but don’t waste my time telling me that this stuff is oh so important.
