The night after the anniversary. Earlier this week, WWE celebrated a huge moment with their 25th Anniversary celebration of “Monday Night Raw”. That show of course did huge numbers, but the next night “Smackdown Live” had its own regular show. There was a chance that some of Monday’s audience held over, but there was no guarantee. So how did Tuesday do?

According to Wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Smackdown Live” drew 2.580 million viewers. This number is down .8% from last week’s 2.602 million viewers. This week’s show was headlined by AJ Styles facing both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in back to back singles matches.

Opinion: That’s not the most surprising result as most of the show is already set up so there’s not much else that was going to happen here. Aside from the four new names being added to the men’s Royal Rumble, there wasn’t much going on this time around. The numbers are virtually the same so it’s not like people left in droves whatsoever. The show was better than previous weeks so hopefully next week sees an upgrade in the audience.
