Switch it up. The biggest story in wrestling at the moment is Enzo Amore being released from WWE and vacating the Cruiserweight Title due to rape allegations. However, he was champion going into the “Monday Night Raw” 25th Anniversary show and as you might have guessed, he would have played a role on the show. Now we know what those plans were and what they became.

According to PWInsider.com, Amore was scheduled to face Goldust, leading to the Zo Train and Cedric Alexander coming out. The Dudley Boyz would have come in for the save and put someone (perhaps Amore) through a table before celebrating with Goldust and Alexander. This was changed to Titus Worldwide teaming up to face Heath Slater and Rhyno with Slater going through the table. Alexander and Goldust were not used.

Here’s what we got instead:

Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. Titus Worldwide: Raw 25, Jan. 22, 2018

Opinion: I feel bad for Goldust and Alexander for being left out of a show like this when they could have gotten some nice exposure. There’s a lot more to this story than just Amore being gone as it changes a bunch of other stories. A rub from the Dudley Boyz would have been nice for Alexander but he didn’t even make the show instead. How great for him.

Which version of this would you have liked to see better? What is next for Alexander? Let us know in the comments below.
