The Other Side. Maria Kanellis Responds To Reports Of She And Her Husband Wanting Out Of WWE

Maybe not so fast. Yesterday, rumors began to swirl that Mike and Maria Kanellis both wanted out of their WWE deals. While their destination wasn’t clear, it seemed possible that the due was on their way out of WWE. This came on the same day as the Revival both wanted out of their contracts as well. As it turns out though, there might be a little more to the story than it seemed.

Maria Kanellis responded to the rumors on Twitter in a series of messages, saying that several of the details in the story were wrong and suggesting that the two of them are not trying to get out of their contracts. The messages talk about how Mike never went to a rehabilitation facility and that she worked in wrestling for several years before she had a baby, both of which were said to have been things the two did on WWE’s dime and then left. Opinion: It’s always hard to say whether some of these things are true or not. Maria has been complaining about her husband’s lack of TV time both on television and online, but is that in character or what she actually thinks? Also, is that enough to make them want to leave? This is a wait and see situation, as the duo may leave sooner or later, or might stick around for a long time. Either way, it’s interesting to have these things going on.
