Hopefully he can recover as fast as he can dance. Shane McMahon is a lot of things. You could call him a daredevil, the former heir to the throne, a horrible puncher, a nutjob in the ring and hopefully a fast healer. Earlier this year, McMahon had some health issues with a bout of diverticulitis and a hernia. That’s a nasty combination and while the diverticulitis is a little harder to solve, one of the problems seems to have been taken care of recently.

I wonder if his next return will be this big.

Shane McMahon returns to WWE: Raw, February 22, 2016

According to WWE.com, McMahon has recently undergone successful hernia surgery. McMahon suffered the injury just before his tag team match at WrestleMania 34 and the injury was written into the story with Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens being given credit for causing McMahon’s condition. McMahon is currently resting at home and could be back on WWE TV soon. McMahon last appeared on the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania 34.

What would have happened if McMahon couldn’t have gone at WrestleMania? Now we know.

Opinion: It’s always nice to see someone have a successful procedure like this and hopefully McMahon will be back to normal soon. At least it doesn’t seem to be that severe and now he can come back to his old job sooner rather than later. I don’t need to see him wrestle ever again for the most part but that doesn’t mean I want to see him in pain. If nothing else his charisma being back on the show could give is a much needed boost pretty soon.
