It was announced the day before “No Mercy” that Becky Lynch is temporarily on the shelf, which left Alexa Bliss lying in wait. However, Naomi kept her busy and even got a win over the No. 1 contender for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Shane McMahon revealed that Bliss will be getting her title match with Becky Lynch on November 8th. That gives WWE a month to build Bliss into a real threat to Lynch’s title, but they decided to book Naomi to go over last night, which was a strange decision.

WWE could just be giving Bliss a mini feud with Naomi over the next month to try to build her, which explains why they’d book Naomi to get the win last night. However, this could be the opportunity for her to finally get the push she deserves on WWE TV.

Naomi is experienced a great athlete, and potentially has something good with the “Feel the Glow” look that has been created for her since her return to WWE programming.

WWE has obviously had to change their plans after the injury to Becky Lynch, but now the question is what do they have planned for SmackDown’s Women’s division over the next month because they’re unlikely to keep everyone running in place for four weeks.
