Dang this could be big. One of the biggest stories of the week was the announcement that SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch would not be able to face Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey at this Sunday’s Survivor Series due to various injuries. The match was arguably the biggest on the entire show and fans wanted to see it. It turns out they might be able to see it somewhere else.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Lynch vs. Rousey is already being considered to either headline WrestleMania 35 in April or be one of the show’s featured matches. Rousey had been mentioned in a possible main event for the show in a match against Charlotte, who will now be facing her this Sunday at Survivor Series as Lynch’s hand picked replacement.
This think might work for the biggest show of the year?
Opinion: The more I watch Lynch, the more of a star I see in her. I’m starting to come around on the idea of her as one of the biggest stars in the company as this The Man character has been one of the best things that has happened to any woman in the company in a long time and it wouldn’t shock me to see her ride this all the way to the main event of WrestleMania. It seems that they’ve been building to that and it would be one of the coolest things you could see in wrestling.
