I don’t know how to handle this. Vince McMahon is more than just an institution to the WWE. In a lot of ways, he IS the WWE. McMahon basically invented the idea of WWE and is one of the only things that has been around the company since its beginning. However, at 71 years old, it’s fair to say he’s not going to be around much longer. We might actually be seeing signs of that taking place.

According to Sportskeeda.com, McMahon made his return to his backstage position running “Monday Night Raw” earlier this week. McMahon was not on the UK tour and the recent string of shows on the west coast. This is very rare for McMahon, who is around almost all shows most of the time. Triple H has been in charge and the atmosphere was said to be much lighter as a result.

Opinion: As much as he would hate to admit it, McMahon can’t go on forever and someone else has to learn how to take his place. While some people might not be his biggest fans, Triple H is probably the only real option to replace him at this point. I don’t know if it’s going to help or hurt the show in the long run but it has to be done at some point.
