I would think that counts as big. There are very few bigger names in all of wrestling than the Undertaker. He has been around for nearly thirty years and has been one of the few constants over a lot of that period. One of the few bigger names would be Steve Austin, and the two of them have quite the history together. At the same time, Austin has his own podcast where he interviews a wide variety of guests, including wrestlers. I think you know where this is going.

In 2016, Austin brought his Steve Austin Show to the WWE Network under the name of the Stone Cold Podcast. The interview show featured Austin sitting down with a variety of big names from WWE, including Vince McMahon, Big Show and AJ Styles among others. The video interviews aired on the WWE Network and more episodes were promised, but none ever took place. One such interview was with the Undertaker, but things have changed a bit since then.

But first, this. Check out Undertaker being brought up on Austin’s podcast:

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Austin will be back on the WWE Network with a similar series called Broken Skull Sessions With Steve Austin. The first guest is scheduled to be the Undertaker, with a release date to be announced, though the first quarter of 2020 is likely. Austin has hosted his podcast since 2013 and has talked about his history with Undertaker several times. The Undertaker is notorious for rarely giving out of character interviews with only a handful having taken place over his career.

Austin and Undertaker have their own history. Check out their most famous match:

Opinion: This is something that has been discussed a few times but I’ll believe it when I see it. Undertaker giving an out of camera interview sounds almost impossible to believe and it isn’t something that needs to be seen on WWE television. That being said, it is something I could go with seeing as the idea of an Undertaker interview is one of the Holy Grails of the modern wrestling fans. It could certainly be interesting and get people talking, which is the point of something like this.
