Call it an armistice? WWE is the most dominant and successful wrestling promotion in history and that gives them a lot of openings. This includes being able to have a show on almost every night of the week, with WWE airing three major shows plus a few other smaller ones every week. They have a few open spots though and now one might be filled in.

The Wednesday Night Wars have been one of the most fascinating things to see in wrestling for a very long time. AEW Dynamite and NXT have gone head to head almost every Wednesday night for about a year and a half now with Dynamite winning most of the week. That has made for some interesting discussions and moments but they might be coming to an end.

According to the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast, a source has said NXT will be moving to Tuesdays starting April 13, the show after WrestleMania 37. Spectrum reporter Jon Alba, who has covered NXT news, responded to the tweet with emojis suggesting that it is an interesting statement. There has been no word or suggestion from WWE that such a move is taking place.

NXT has done well on Wednesdays. Check out some of their better moments:

Opinion: This sounds like quite the upgrade as it can be rather tiring to watch NXT and Dynamite back to back every Wednesday night. That is a lot of wrestling to watch in a single night and spreading things out a lot will help a bit. I’m curious to see how how the audience for both shows will go as the competition goes away, meaning we can find out how many people the shows can get without having to deal with the other.
