Lesnar meets his match? To say Brock Lesnar is a once in a generation (if not longer) wrestler is an understatement. How many others can you think of with a detailed amateur wrestling background before moving onto a successful mixed martial arts career? Well there’s Lesnar, but then there’s another name in the form of Bobby Lashley. That might make things more interesting in the near future.
According to the Inquisitr, Lashley has come to turns with WWE, though there is no word on when he might debut. There is a chance it could be the night after “Wrestlemania XXXIV” on “Monday Night Raw”, which tends to have a major return as a surprise. Lashley last wrestled in WWE in 2008 and has spent considerable time in Impact Wrestling since, finishing up his recent dates in January.
Here’s Lashley’s greatest moment in WWE:
Bobby Lashley vs. Umaga - Battle of the Billionaires Match: WrestleMania 23
And a major Impact Wrestling match:
World Heavyweight Championship: Bobby Roode vs Lashley (Sept 17, 2014)
Opinion: I hope Lashley comes back to WWE. He was a big deal while he was around in the first place, but at the same time he needed to learn to talk. Since that’s been taken care of in recent years, Lashley could come in for a big run, feud with someone like Brock Lesnar, and move on to whatever else. There’s potential there and hopefully it takes place this year.
Do you want Lashley back? If so, who do you want to see him face? Let us know in the comments below.
