The Rusev way. Things have not been going very well for WWE over the last few months. Fans have not been responding positively to everything that is presented to them on television and it isn’t hard to see why. Part of this is due to a lot of people not being on the shows and as it turns out, the reason given for one of the absences may be inaccurate.
On Friday, Rusev posted on Twitter that dirt sheets had been given the wrong information. While not confirmed, this would seem to be in regard to Rusev missing recent television due to asking for time off. When asked what he did on Tuesday night instead, Rusev said that he was attending a baseball game. Rusev’s last appearance was at Super ShowDown, with his most recent match on SmackDown Live taking place on April 16.
You have been fed the wrong information, Dirt sheets.

And here is that match. Check out a six man tag from April:
Opinion: The more I thought about this, the less sense that it made. How much time off did Rusev need when he hadn’t exactly been on television all that much of late anyway? On top of that he wrestled on the European tour and at Super ShowDown. If nothing else, given how many people are also missing from television as of late, is it that surprising that Rusev is missing too?
