That isn’t a good sign. Wrestling is an interesting place as everything is built around the idea of how much the fans get behind or against a wrestler. That is what really matters in wrestling, with the actual action between the bells not meaning anywhere near as much. Instead, it’s all about the personalities and the fans supporting or opposing various wrestlers, which is quite the interesting trick. Sometimes a wrestler is not getting the company’s desired reactions, so maybe they might have to
Seth Rollins has been one of the top names in WWE for a very long time now, winning multiple World Titles, including a pair at WrestleMania. That puts him in some pretty rare company in WWE and he has held the Universal Title twice this year, making it clear that he is still a top star. However, since at least Hell in a Cell, things have been going the wrong way for Rollins, partially due to the end of the match. WWE still views him as a major star though and the company may have done something about it during this week’s television show.
This sounds interesting. Check out the segment in question:
According to Alex McCarthy of Talk Sport, WWE changed the audience reaction for Rollins’ promo on Monday Night Raw. During the promo, Rollins said that he was the best wrestler in the world, with McCarthy saying that the crowd booed. However, the audio heard on the broadcast heard fans cheering. This week’s Monday Night Raw from Manchester, England was taped, meaning the audio could have been changed. WWE has done this several times over the years for taped shows.
And this isn't about Seth (I've been roundly abused before for arguing he is, in actual fact, very good and in the convo of best in the world), I'm just not big on crowd noises being adjusted to fit a narrative.

This seemed to be the breaking point. Check out Rollins vs. the Fiend:
Opinion: This really isn’t all that surprising as Rollins has been stuck in the middle of a rather badly done story. That match in the Cell is going to go down as one of the all time bad ideas and I don’t see things getting any better for Rollins anytime soon. Monday Night Raw could use a full time heel since Brock Lesnar is not going to be around very often, so turning Rollins is as good of an idea as WWE may have at the moment. The fans want to boo him and he is a natural heel, so why not just do it?
What do you think of WWE possibly altering the sound? Should Rollins turn heel? Let us know in the comments below.
