Oh brother. Last week, WWE shocked the wrestling world by clearing Daniel Bryan to return to in-ring competition. Fans were very excited at the prospect as Bryan hadn’t wrestled in nearly three years. However, he’s still “Smackdown Live” General Manager, meaning a replacement is needed. WWE may have found one.
Remember how Bryan got his job?
Just in case you haven’t thought about Bryan’s return enough yet.
Opinion: I’m not sure about this. At the end of the day, I grew up a Hulkamaniac and will be one for the rest of my life. That being said, Hogan doesn’t quite fit in something like this. “Smackdown Live” is the more wrestling oriented show and Hogan is as over the top as you can get. On top of that he’s going to overshadow so many people and his act has a pretty limited shelf life. This could work in the short term but I’m hesitant about the long term.
Hogan has a long history of returns.
Do you want Hogan to get the job? If not, who should be the new GM? Let us know in the comments below.
