Another one? The wrestling business has been shifting around quite a bit lately with a lot of names switching from one company to the other. As is usually the case, WWE gets a set of new talent out of this as well and it seems that yet another former champion from another organization could be on his way in.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, former Impact Wrestling TV Champion Gunner
is currently undergoing his physical for a potential run in NXT. Gunner, 34 years old, wrestled for Impact Wrestling from June 2010 until June 2015, winning a TV Title and one half of the Tag Team Titles with partner James Storm.
Opinion: Gunner might not have been the best worker but he was a good hand and someone with a lot of potential to be developed. During his time in “Impact Wrestling”, his character was basically “he used to be in the army”, which is hardly enough to go on. Let WWE see what they can do with him and it could go somewhere.
Gunner's tribute to his Dad is ruined by James Storm (March 20, 2014)
