Change of plans. There are all kinds of feuds in wrestling and many of them are planned out long in advance. You can see a wide variety of stories and there are different ways to present them. Sometimes though those plans do not go as they are supposed to for one reason or another. Now we know how things were going to go and what we are getting instead of the original idea.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Down For Now: AEW Star Undergoes Surgery, Could Miss Months
At Money In The Bank, Shayna Baszler turned on Ronda Rousey, costing them the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the original plans called for the two to team and then feud with each other, albeit after a longer and slower build. The changes had to be made due to Rousey suffering an arm injury, as well as Rousey’s contract expiring soon. There is no word on when the match will take place or when Rousey is expected to leave.

Opinion: This happens from time to time and unfortunately there is not much that can be done about it. If Rousey is going to be heading out from WWE rather quickly and the injury delayed everything, WWE only has so many options. Thankfully we are at least getting a match out of the whole thing and now we should be in for a heck of a showdown, which should work well.
