Big Time? Speculation Over Possible Summerslam Title Match

That would be a way to go. A dominant champion can do a lot of things in wrestling, as one can become a major story in short order. It can be interesting to see someone holding a title for the long term with little reason to believe that they are going to lose anytime soon. Finding the right challenger can make things all the better and now we might know who is next for a monster champion.

Rhea Ripley won the SmackDown Women’s Title (later changed to the Women’s World Title) at WrestleMania 39 and has held the title since. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, there is a chance that Ripley could be defending against Raquel Rodriguez at Summerslam, as Rodriguez and her partner Liv Morgan saved Natalya from a Ripley attack this week on Monday Night Raw. This is NOT confirmed and should be seen as speculation.

It would be a big one. Check out what could be coming at Summerslam:

Opinion: This does feel like a logical way to go and that is not a bad thing. Ripley is taller and stronger than most of her opponents so finding who could stand up to her physically makes things all the more interesting. I could go for seeing the match, as Rodriguez has done well in previous major matches. If WWE goes this way, we could be in for a heck of a fight and that is entirely the point.
