Ronda Rousey Has A Broken Back

That might hold her back. Injuries are a terrible thing in wrestling, or in any athletic field for that matter. What seems like something that should only keep you out for a short time can keep you out of action for an indefinite stretch, as you never can tell how bad something is going to be. That is the case with a certain out of commission wrestler, who mighe be getting to come back if things are cleared up.

There are very few wrestlers who have hit the ground running like Ronda Rousey. After dominating the UFC, Rousey switched over to professional wrestling and continued her star run, going all the way to the main event of WrestleMania 35. Rousey was a star like no other and fans have been waiting for her return. It turns out that there is a big problem that has to be cleared up first.

In a new interview with Digital Spy, Rousey revealed that a vertebrae in her back is broken in half, making traveling for wrestling especially hard. Rousey called traveling with the injury the absolute worst and said that it caused her to want to do nothing but lay down on her back. There is no word on if she will have surgery to repair the injury or any word on her wanting to return to WWE.

Opinion: I’d call that one a serious injury and it makes sense that Rousey would not want to get back in the ring or on the road before having her injury fixed up. Having a back that injured is going to make anything difficult and the pain sounds horrible. Hopefully she can get everything fixed up and return to the ring one day, because she is rather good at the whole wrestling thing.
