That’s an explanation. Wrestling is a physical sport and that means there is always the chance that someone can get hurt. There have been a lot of injuries over the years and some of them are more than a bit strange. That is kind of the case this time again, though in this case the wrestler has a pair of injuries, with one of them sounding a bit more serious than the other.
Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Bianca Belair announced that Rhea Ripley was not medically cleared to wrestle at Money in the Bank, meaning their Raw Women’s Title match was off. Ripley has since revealed via her Instagram by way of Wrestlinginc.com that she is suffering from both brain and teeth injuries. There is no word on what specifically is wrong or how long Ripley will be out. Carmella earned the right to challenge Belair instead.
Opinion: Both of these are serious issues and hopefully Ripley is back sooner rather than later. Either of them could be an issue that could keep Ripley on the shelf for a long time but at least she has already started taking care of them. Ripley is a potential breakout star and it would be a shame to see her on the shelf for a long time, especially as she seems ready to move up to the next level.
What do you think of Ripley? What should she do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
