That’s good and bad. Injuries are one of the worst things that you can see take place in wrestling. You never know when you are going to see someone taken out of the ring due to getting hurt and that is always a bad thing. That is the case again with one of the biggest stars in the world, but now we know a bit more about what is going on and that is a good thing.

Bryan Danielson opened this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite and announced that he is not medically cleared to wrestle at the moment. As a result, he will miss Sunday’s Forbidden Door match against Zack Sabre Jr. as well as next week’s Blood & Guts match. Danielson did not give a date when he will be back but he did promise to return to the ring. He also promised that a replacement will take his place in both matches, with the same person wrestling both times.

Opinion: That is not good to hear, but it is a situation that certainly could be worse. It is great to see that Danielson is still able to be out there and stand in the ring, though it could be awhile before he gets back to action. If nothing else, there is the intrigue over who will be taking his place, which could be quite a few people. I can go for a mystery opponent, but now they need to deliver.

What does this mean for Danielson? Who do you think is his replacement? Let us know in the comments below.
