Maybe this is what they need. Following in Sin Cara’s footsteps, we have another main roster regular being announced for the cruiserweight division. After Rich Swann successfully defended his Cruiserweight Title against Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins, Neville made his return and attacked Swann, likely setting himself up as the next challenger for the title.

Neville hasn’t been around much lately as his last match on Monday Night Raw was an appearance in a battle royal on October 31. The fans seemed rather happy to have him back as they changed “THANK YOU NEVILLE” after Neville attacked all three of the cruiserweights and left them all laying.

This is one of those ideas that should have happened a long time ago and it’s a good thing they didn’t take too much time getting him there. Neville is a name that people still care about and it’s interesting to see him as a heel. There’s a benefit in having someone with some credibility and experience going after the title.
