Those voices in your head might be the nurses and doctor. You may have noticed the lack of Randy Orton in recent weeks. While he was in a United States Title match at Backlash against Jeff Hardy, Orton hasn’t been around since the European tour started. It was originally reported that it was due to his lighter house show schedule and while that still seems to be the case, there’s another big reason on top of that.
Maybe he could do this when he comes back.
Opinion: To be fair, it’s not like Orton is really going to be missed week to week. He rarely has any major storylines anymore and just kind of goes from match to match. Orton has been around for so many years now that there’s nothing left for him to do. He’s been turned face and heel so many times that it’s stopped meaning much and while the RKO is still a great finisher, there aren’t many places left for it to take him. Maybe the time away can recharge him a bit but he needs something at the moment.
