And up they go again. With “Survivor Series 2017” in the rear view mirror, it’s full speed ahead for “Royal Rumble 2018” and the Road to Wrestlemania. The busy season is about to begin and WWE’s hope is that the fans will be around in greater numbers for the TV shows leading up to those events. So how did their first offering go?
According to wrestlinginc.com, this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” drew 3.074 million viewers. This number is up 1.4% over last week’s 3.031 million viewers and the best total since the August 28 episode. This week’s show was highlighted by the fallout from “Survivor Series 2017” and featured Roman Reigns defeating the Miz for the Intercontinental Title in the main event.

Opinion: That’s quite a strong number for the show and a good sign for WWE at the moment. Above all else for them, we’re getting closer to the end of “Monday Night Football” and the numbers haven’t entirely collapsed. If they can hang on for a few more weeks, they can get into the biggest time of the year with no football hanging over their head.
