They have been mounting up. AEW has not been around all that long though you would not often know it. Despite still being a rather new promotion, the company has already established itself as one of the most exciting and popular promotions in America today. That does not mean things are perfect though and there is something that needs to be fixed in a big way.

One problem that AEW has been running into as of late is a rash of injuries. Some of these have been worse than others, but there have been several people getting banged up in one way or another. This has been going on for several weeks now and it is becoming more and more of a problem. One thing that might help is finding out what is causing them and now there might be a theory.

According to Wrestling Observer Live, one of the possible reasons for the amount of injuries in AEW is the lack of a live crowd. The idea is that without the fans to feed off of, the wrestlers are not as fired up as they would be otherwise and it messes up their timing. The wrestlers are used to something and it is not there now, which has led to some of the mistakes and injuries. This comes just over a week after Abadon was injured by taking a shot to the throat, which put her in the hospital.

They can do this rather well. Check out what happens when AEW is doing a bit better:

Opinion: I’m not sure if I can go with this one. A lot of these wrestlers are used to wrestling in front of much smaller crowds, which is what they have around the ring in the form of the wrestlers and the occasional fans. This theory doesn’t make a ton of sense when you put it into practicality, though hopefully having more fans around might make other parts of the show better.
